PLAB یا  Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board 

 پشت سر گذراندن موفقیت آمیز PLAB در انگلستان به منزله نشان دادن دانش کافی و توانائیهای

لازم پزشکان خارجی برای اشتغال به عنوان پزشک در این کشور است.

پزشکان برای گذراندن Practice Medicine احتیاج به ثبت نام در GMC ( General Medical Council) دارند که برای انجام این کار قبولی در امتحان PLAB ضروری است.

The PLAB test is the main route by which International Medical Graduates (IMGs) demonstrate that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to practise medicine in the UK

جهت کسب اطلاعات بیشتر در زمینه شرکت در  دوره های PLAB  و امتحانات PLAB  فرم مشاوره تحصیلی را تکمیل  نمائید.  

امتحان  PLAB دارای دو قسمت است Part 1 و Part 2 که علاقمندان بعد از موفقیت در Part 1 اجازه شرکت در Part 2 را   خواهند داشت. متقاضیانی که به طور مکرر در امتحان Part 1 مردود شوند تا چهار ماه اجازه امتحان مجدد را نخواهند داشت.

   در امتحان PLAB متون تخصصی پزشکی و دانش پزشکی و توانائی متقاضیان مورد ارزشیابی قرار می گیرد.

   لازم به ذکر است که داشتن مدرک IELTS نیز برای شرکت در امتحان PLAB ضروری می باشد.

   دندانپزشکان احتیاجی به گذراندن این امتحان ندارند.

  شرایط متقاضی :

1-     فارغ التحصیل از دانشگاه پزشکی معتبر

2-     نشان دادن واجد شرایط بودن برای شرکت در امتحان

3-فراهم کردن شرایط مالی برای هزینه های سفر و اقامت ( خود و در صورت تمایل خانواده )

       پزشکان میتوانند با گرفتن این ویزا در دوره های  Clinical Attachment  نیزشرکت نمایند .

There are various different routes to registration with a licence to practise in the UK

You will need to pass the PLAB test before you can apply for registration with a licence to practise if you meet the following criteria

You are a national of a country outside the UK, European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland who graduated from a medical school outside the UK

OR

You are a UK national who has graduated from a medical school outside the UK, EEA or Switzerland

AND

You do not have EC rights

AND

You are not sponsored under an arrangement approved by GMC

OR

You do not hold an approved postgraduate qualification

OR

You are not a trained GP or specialist

If you do not meet the above criteria, you may be eligible to apply for registration with a licence to practise without

 PLAB 1

This course will help you focus on the skills required to succeed in the examination. All teaching is specially geared towards Extended Matching Questions (EMQS), which form the basis of PLAB Part 1. The course provides a quick and efficient review of the core material with intensive coverage of regularly tested topics
PLAB 2

This course provides intensive coaching on all aspects of the PLAB Part 2 test. Doctors are trained in conducting clinical histories & examinations, counselling patients and dealing with various subtle scenarios. You will also be taught physical examination techniques

Fees

The following fees are effective from 16 November 2009

 Doctors on a lower income may be entitled to a 50% discount on the value of their fee. Further information can be found on our lower income discount page
 This includes a non-refundable scrutiny fee of £100 should your application be refused, closed or withdrawn
 The fee for provisional registration is for a two year period. A restoration fee is charged to doctors restoring to the Register following administrative erasure
